The Order of Light fulfilled an ancient prophecy and defeated the villains who had wiped out all life. The worlds were ready to be resettled, except the dead refused to stay down. The Order wasn't keen on picking up their weapons a second time. The heroes hurried through a portal to celebrate, tossing her one last line on the way out: "Hey, you, clean up here." Nobody said what exactly. So she'll clean up everything.

UNDEAD THAT THINK

The dead don't get stuck on walls or wait around to be shot. If something's in their way, they break it. Climbed onto a roof? The horde will lay siege to the house: some pelt you with bones, others tear the building apart right under your feet. Mages keep their distance, heal their allies and fall back to a new position when you get close. Armoured brutes don't go around walls, they go through them. Shield bearers cover the line, swordsmen charge head-on.

EVERYTHING BREAKS. ESPECIALLY WHAT THE UNDEAD ARE STANDING UNDER

Walls, roofs, towers, windmills and bridges shatter with every hit, so every building here is a weapon. Lure a crowd of the dead into an alley and bring a house down on them. Knock the foundation out from under a tower just as the horde gets close. The stronger the magic, the more rubble and the fewer undead.

SOLO OR AS A SQUAD OF FOUR

Fight them off alone or bring up to three friends and play through the campaign together: one holds the street, the other drops a bell tower on it. Pick your difficulty: easy, medium or hard. On easy you can smash things to a podcast, on hard the horde doesn't forgive mistakes.

PvP IN THE RUINS

PvP where you can level everything around you and the magic never runs out. Wreck your opponent's cover, collapse the floor beneath their feet and hide behind walls while there's anything left of them. Every round hands you a new spell, so you'll have to change tactics on the fly.

ARSENAL

Pelt the horde with ice grenades, no need to stockpile or ration them. Pull a cart to you and launch it into a crowd of the dead. Sweep a street clean with a shockwave, along with everyone standing on it. And when the undead get too many, unleash the Little Boy nuke: afterwards there's not a single wall or bone left intact anywhere nearby.

UPGRADES

Every undead you put to rest drops crystals that buy new spells. Stars come from quests, hidden caches and the arena, and they upgrade the heroine: damage, radius, cast speed, running, jumping and loot magnet range. A wave you could barely hold off at the start goes down in ten seconds by the end, along with the whole block.

10 WORLDS

The Order's ancient temple holds portals to ten worlds. Each one costs more than the last, so you'll have to save up. A bandit camp, a Halloween village, a scorched desert, a pirate island and beyond: from tents and sheds to entire fortresses. Every world has its own secrets and its own undead.

ARENA

The arena welcomes solo players too. Challenges for time, score and full clears: bronze, silver and gold for each. Come back to beat your own record, earn more stars and unlock character customization.
